Success is not a solo enterprise – Douglas Vermeeren, #1 Passive Income Coach

#1 passive income coach - douglas vermeeren - teamwork

Most people make the mistake of thinking that whatever they want in life they must do by themselves. In fact, there is even a famous saying that many people have misunderstood. ‘If it’s meant to be – it’s up to me.’ While it’s true you need to be the one to initiate what you want, and you even need to be the one to organize how it will be done – wealth and success is actually a team sport.

And the more help and support you can find the easier it is to create. All of the most successful people in the world have created the results they have achieved by finding smart people to have help them. T

hat’s how they did, that’s how I did it. That’s how you’ll do it.

Leveraged the best support for the people around you and success will come quicker.

Are you seeking out the best? – Douglas Vermeeren

When it comes to the development of self you deserve the best. At least you’d think that’s how people would think. My experience in reality has been quite different. Not everyone understands the importance of seeking out the best. In fact, that has been one of the biggest differences between the top achieves in the world and those that are still struggling to find security, stability and success in their lives.

As I interviewed more than 400 of the worlds top achievers one common trait among the best of the best was that they always sought out the best. If they had a job to do they found the best people to do it. Doing something right once is always more effective and less expensive in the long run than doing things multiple times with an inferior solution.

Douglas Vermeeren ppm 49

Through out the years I have seen those who on the surface say they are interested in creating success remain stagnant and repeat the same mistakes because they are more committed to cheap and insufficient solutions more than they are to levelling up. If you want to level up you must increase the quality of your solutions. There is no other way. It’s like trying to dig a hole with a broken shovel.

This group is just rolling themselves. They are not committed to higher levels of success. They are seeking out a cheap, quick easy fix that doesn’t require more than they are currently willing to give. If you solve problems at the level you currently are comfortable with you get to keep the problems you are experiencing at this level. It’s that simple.

If you want more invest more in yourself and the solutions and support you need to get there.  Get committed to level up.

Where can you find the most happiness? Awesome question -BAM #2

happyfaceAwesome Happiness

by Douglas Vermeeren

A recent study on happiness supports the same findings we arrived at with the Be Awesome Movement. (#BeAWESOMEMovement)

The study focused on the two major areas people spend money. Those two areas are on purchasing tangible objects and purchasing experiential activities or experiences.  That same study found that while purchasing objects provided an instant rise in happiness levels, those levels were fleeting and disappeared quickly. In other words after the object was purchased and now considered a potion it was taken for granted and contributed very little to happiness factors.

On the other hand purchasing experiences or experiential activities provided for longer and more sustained happiness.

In the Be Awesome Movement we have also found that creating memorable experiences creates memorable memories both of which contribute to happiness. Objects contribute more towards satisfaction than lasting happiness.

So keep this in mind next time you have a purchasing choice to make. Don’t just buy stuff. Spend your money on things which you can experience like a trip, or some tickets to an event or something that you can experience. in the end you will be happier that you did.

An Awesome life is living your life by decision. You are where you want to be, doing the things that excite you, inspire you and bring out the best in you and in those around you.

Become a Millionaire in 2011

Millionaire in 2011

Millionaire in 2011

Become a Millionaire in 2011

By Douglas Vermeeren

It has been estimated that there is a new millionaire created somewhere in the world every 60 seconds.  In the world today there are more than 10 millionaires.  Most live in North America. Statistically if you live in North America your chances of becoming a millionaire are dramatically increased. But with the right system you can accomplish this goal no matter where you live. (Especially since the world is truly getting smaller.)

There are many great systems and money making methods that will allow you to create an annually income of more than a million dollars. When looking at the various systems that are in available you may wish to consider the following:

Investment: Each opportunity or system requires a commitment or financial investment. The old adage that it takes money to make money is most often true. There are some opportunities that promise returns without a cash injection. But many of them are either too complex for the average person or highly suspect.

However, you don’t need a million dollars to make a million dollars. The truth is that if you had a million dollars to invest you would already know what you need to do to make a million dollars. There are strategies that you could begin an amount that would be reasonable for most people to have access to. Therefore, are many successful strategies that begin from $2,500.00 up to $10,000.00. If you can come up with more all the better, it will accelerate your journey to a million.

Cash flow: My definition of millionaire has more to do with money coming in regularly than money accumulated in assets. The assets naturally follow cash flow. If you don’t have cash flow, you have a very hard time growing assets. One of my requirements for a system or method is that it needs to produce regular reoccurring income. In fact, the more frequent the better.

Risk: We have all heard that higher risk opportunities pay better. This is not always true.    High risk often pays nothing back. While every investment and opportunity will have a degree of risk, we can find opportunities where the risk is lower. Surprisingly I found many lower risk opportunities where the pay out was still very attractive. When looking for opportunities be very careful about high risk opportunities.

Time: Time is an important issue to me. I don’t want to finally have the money to do the things I enjoy after I am too old to enjoy them. I believe life shouldn’t be like a robbery, “You’re money or your life.”  Abundance and financial success means you get both.

If a method or system takes too long to see results,  I simply discard it. Slow and steady is prudent and there’s no problem with that. Even today I still keep a fair portion of my money in those kinds of systems. But I have only done that after building for myself something firm and reoccurring in the present.  That’s probably counter intuitive and contrary to what most ‘experts’ teach. But here’s the other reason my strategy is that way. If I made a mistake, or if things didn’t work out exactly as planned I would still be young enough to recover from it. (And I haven’t had too many of these kinds of challenges – my methods for evaluating risk have helped with that.)

Simplicity: Too often I have been personally discouraged when because a system or method I have encountered has just plainly been too difficult to implement. I do not have a formal education in finance in economics. Through out most of my life I have been lucky if I could just balance a check book and get my bills paid on time. If a system is complex in any way, shape or form it generally won’t work for me. It is for this reason that I have specifically sought out systems that were simple.

I developed a question I would ask as any system was introduced to me, the question was this: ‘Could my 12 year old son figure this out?’ If he could not, I would also walk away.  Now that’s not to say that the more complex systems don’t work. They do. Many of them are great. But that’s not what I wanted to focus on. I wanted something simple and the easier the better.

As we begin 2011 I am looking to find a handful of people to work with to grow their wealth substantially with a learning system we have developed.

We will not take everyone at this point. I want only those who are serious and committed. The bottom-line is that I want people that I can help to generate dramatic results.  Eventually I may release more of these proven systems to the public, but for now I just want to see what I can do with a select group.

If you are over 18 and feel you would like to be part of this group, please contact me and we can discuss to see if you are a right fit with what we are teaching.  Is 2011 the year that you change everything about your future by learning how to become a Millionaire? The Success Secret no One else will tell you

with 2 comments

Do you have this Secret of Success?

Do you have this Secret of Success?

The Success Secret no one else will tell you

By Douglas Vermeeren

Everywhere you look today you can find promises of new products, books or classes that will teach you how to create incredible and immeasurable success. The success they promise may be the changes you want in the areas of increased abundance, improvements in your relationships, optimal health, greater self esteem and even increased spirituality.  While many of these products and programs offer valuable information and insights for creating success they are generally missing something. If you want to create success that will last this final ingredient may be the most important of all.

The success secret that is rarely talked about is kindness.

Although this principle is rarely eluded to in the success library of today it is common in all of the philosophical and religious materials of the world. Variations of the golden rule, to do unto others as you would have them do unto you, appear in the philosophies of almost all religions. The earliest record being that of the ancient Babylonians in a text called the Code of Hammurabi purportedly written in 1780 BCE.

Perhaps, because we have heard it so often we have taken it for granted.

While quick money and easy victories can be made without kindness, only kindness and consideration of others builds a sure foundation. As you do unto others as you would have them do unto you, they generally do it.

You’ve probably heard it said in jest that the golden rule is simply ‘he that has the gold makes the rules.’ But the opposite is actually the truth; he who knows and keeps the golden rule eventually gets to keep the gold.

Kindness allows for relationships of growth and trust. Kindness fosters a spirit of  cooperation and collaboration. Kindness breeds creativity and best results. When we feel that we will be valued and treated with kindness we bring forth our very best. On the other hand, greed and self centeredness cause a business, organization, community, family and even an individual to shrink rather than expand.

You’ve heard the saying that ‘nice guys finish last?’ Nice guys may take longer to build something, but they receive the privilege of being permitted to finish. When you engage in dishonesty or manipulation, you may fool people once but you will rarely get a second chance to do so. Success is about creating something that will last and endure. Something that a mean spirited and self centered person will never get to experience.

Kindness is not just about being cordial, polite and politically correct. It is about being of service, leaving someone better than you found them and improving things wherever you go. Kindness does not mean doing everything for everyone, everywhere and every time. It means being filled with a desire to see yourself and others succeed and then doing appropriate things with consideration in an empowering way. Learning how to establish proper boundaries is an act of kindness. Kindness includes using wisdom. Kindness arrives often in the little things and comes from character more than pocketbook.

Kindness is not necessarily found in solving problems. It is found in pointing the way to solutions and giving hope.

Your rewards in life will be proportionate to your ability to be of service and improve the world around you. Opportunities for service and improvement rarely come with labels attached. You need to actively look for these. I challenge you to go on a quest to spread kindness and consideration. As you do so success will become yours.
