Why most people fail to have financial freedom

Most people never get to where they want in life because they simply never get started. They hold back wishing, dreaming and wanting a freedom lifestyle. But day after day they do nothing to build it. Financial freedom is created through leverage passive income. Passive Income is created one activity at a time.

Financial freedom takes a dedicated and commited approach. It requires you know what you want. It requires sacrifices and activity. It requires that you get off the coach and get busy now — so that you relax later.

You need to get started to reap a reward.

But now let‘s be fair. Why do most people never get started? Why do they stay the same? There are a few main reasons I keep hearing:

  1. They don’t know what to do
  2. They don’t believe its possible for them
  3. They think the requirements are too high
  4. They are embarrassed of what other may think if they level up
  5. They think it will be too big of a hustle to mainatain it once created

All of these things are not true or easy to overcome. You can get help for all of these. And if you your ego is holding you back and you are worried about what other might think of you be assured that most people in your life would be happy for you. And those that are not supportive or happy that you are making progress shouldn’t really be the opinion that you measure your life by.

This is your life. You deserve all the good things you desire and all the positive results you can create.

If you don’t get started today you will never experience results tomorrow. So excited about my newest book which can help you know what to do next. Come check it out www.PassiveIncomeMillionairebook.com#1passiveincomecoach #passiveincomemillionairebook #douglasvermeeren

Most people have a hard time creating success because they never consider what success really looks like for them. Without a clue of what it looks like they lack a direction of what to do first to get there. And even if they happen to start down a correct path they have no idea what to improve or adjust along the way. You’ve probably heard the saying that a problem well defined is already half solved, The same is true in success. If you really know what you want half the challenge of creating it will be solved and you can more easily recognize what you need to do to make it happen. Take some time today to think more carefully about what you really want and don’t just passively wait and watch for things to happen. #personalpowermastery #ppm #douglasvermeeren #success #achiewvement #goalssetting

Everything around you can change

By Douglas Vermeeren, Creator of Personal Power Mastery

Too often people become discouraged because they are caught in the middle of a less than perfect situation. Sometimes these circumstances can even be painful. They are certainly not inspiring and often times do not give the individual involved the tools or beliefs that things can be better. we are highly influenced by what we surround ourselves with and these things often limit us rather than empower us. But are we trapped by where we are and who we spend time with. Is there no hope to live the dreams we have if we are surrounded by challenging circumstances?

The simple answer is YES! Things around you can change. Here are a few significant ways that negative circumstances can change. And quickly…

  1. Change the way you look at things and they will change. When we see things as a challenge they stay that way. But when we look at them as stepping stones to a new situation they become that. I do recognize that some situations are just difficult to paint positive. In some situations such as a abuse that may be near impossible. And quite frankly when something is just plain wrong you should not look at it in an acceptable manner. But even in those severe negative situations you do have a choice in how you will respond and react. Rather than look for a way through LOOK FOR THE WAY OUT! On this note I also want to mention that there is support, help and loving people who will be there for you to make this escape. Start looking at it in the way that you know there are people who will support your exit. You are not alone. Even this shift of perception will give you strength and courage to start to create the changes you need.
  2. Raise your standards. As you change what you will tolerate your entire situation will change. If you decide that you deserve better or more in your specific situation you will start to become more. As You become more you will begin to attract the things that will change your situation for the better. Most people settle for their current situation and so their current situation continues. If you don’t level up your life you will always get what you’ve always gotten.
  3. Get moving. Action always changes a situation. Results appear as a result of an equation. Things around you will change in the same way.  1 + 1 = 2. You have control over one of the 1s in this equation. It’s you. If you decide to raise your standards to a 2 and act that way the end result is this equation 2 + 1=3. The end result has changed. You can also choose to not participate which turn turns your 1 into a 0. 0+1=1. The equation is changed again. recently one of of my students shared that their marriage wasn’t going as planned. There was a lot of conflict and challenge. We had this discussion about equations and she decided that even if her partner was not going to be loving and kind she could be. Even if her partner didn’t value some of the things she did she would still live her live with those values. So in some circumstances she became a 2 in their 1 +1 and a 0 in their 1+1. As you can imagine things changed in both circumstances. Douglas Vermeeren PPM 47In this case her spouse decided he needed to change his behaviour to keep up with the new and improved version of his spouse and this story now has a happy ending. That is not always the case, sometimes the changes to where you know you need to be result in a recognition that you and the other person are more empowered apart.  as you create yourself in the way you know you should be those answers will appear.

Change is required for success and satisfaction in life. When the things around you begin to conspire to help you magical and marvellous things begin to happen. Everything around responds to what you do next. Both in positive and negative ways. So determine carefully what you want and then use these 3 concepts to shift your reality to follow your vision.

Can a person actually change?

Can a person actually change?

Can a person actually change?

Can a person actually change?

By Douglas Vermeeren

Recently I had a friend express some concerns about some of the things that were going on in his relationship. He said it didn’t really matter how much he tried that he continued the same patterns that were devastating his marriage and family life. After arguments he would feel so bad that he would indulge in alcoholic behavior that would inevitably make the situation worse.

This post is really to help him with a few thoughts I had since we chatted, but feel free to listen in.

Although each of our mothers has told us that it takes ‘two to tangle’ in a fight. I have seen from my experience in the martial arts that if one of those fighters changes the rules of the confrontation that often times the fight doesn’t have to happen at all.

That’s what this post is about is change.

After talking about a few strategies my friend had tried the question came, “Can a person really change?”

The answer is YES! In fact, change is always happening. The thing that is more impossible than change is to stay the same. Even if you argue that you face every day more or less the same way, the situations you face are not the same. Change is happening around you and you are being effected by it. The only choice you have with change is that you can choose to act instead of being acted upon.

The greatest tool that we have to create the life we want is our ability to choose.  Your tomorrow doesn’t have to look like your yesterday. You can make that choice. You’ve probably heard it said, that ‘if at first you don’t succeed, try again.’ I prefer to say, ‘If at first you don’t succeed, remember nothing is the same as it was at first.’

Most people understand they have choice. The challenge most people experience is that they never invest the mental effort to decide what it is they really want. Therefore their choices and actions never create anything specific.

In the case of my friend, some of us do have ideas of what we want but we never really commit to those ideas until we run the risk of losing what we wanted. We then scurry in desperation to find bandaids to hold what we want in place before it disappears. We need to decide what we want and do something about it while it is still within our grasp.

If we are prepared to invest our efforts in what we want we will miss out.

Each day we make new choices, some of them work out really well, some we learn from and hopefully make better choices the next time.

But the only way we can grow into making better choices is to have a valuable destination in mind. It must be a destination that is important to us. We aren’t ever willing to work for things which don’t have meaning to us. When we have a valuable destination before us, then our brains can be convinced to get to work. (Convincing the brain can often be the hardest part. In the workshops, The Neuroscience of Success, I share a really great strategy that convinces the brain called ‘The Council of 5’.)

Creating change is a system and process that involves the brain. That process is scientifically called neuroplasticity. Simply, stated neuroplasticity is the brains ability to rewire itself to accommodate developments or change in situations or experience. One neuroscientist put it simply this way, “Neurons that fire together, wire together.” In other words, that which we devote our attention, practice and performance to creates new neural networks in our brain and certain tasks become easier.

Heber J. Grant said it this way, “”That which we persist in doing becomes easier to do, not that the nature of the thing has changed, but our power to do so is increased.”

So can positive changes happen?  Can a person change their life?  Can a person repair things that aren’t working in their life? Absolutely.

So what about in a relationships that are experiencing difficulty? That can change too. But we must remember that both people involved have their freedom to choose. If both are committed, not through compulsion but through choice, there is the ability to repair and strengthen a broken relationship.

But change in a relationship is often like growing flowers, you can’t get them to grow faster by pulling on them. It will take time and nurturing. There will still be bad days and difficult moments. That is where a firm commitment to that valuable destination is crucial. If the destination is truly valuable it must stay in focus even during these moments.

Change can happen in any aspect of a persons life and it can be the source of the greatest joys to come.  We are not bound to be as we were. We have the power to choose and with that power can come the greatest possibilities.
